You are not lacking insight or effort.
You are leading from a self you have never fully inhabited.
It shows up as a nervous system still bracing for impact even when the threat is gone. Racing thoughts. A body wound tight in places you cannot reach. Exhaustion that achievement cannot fix.
It shows up as numbness where feeling used to be. Watching your life happen rather than inhabiting it. The patterns you can see clearly and cannot stop in real time.
It shows up as shame with no clean origin. Guilt that was never yours to hold. People-pleasing as a reflex so deep it feels like character. The fear of being truly seen. Self-doubt that competence cannot silence. Inner pressure that status has not resolved.
It shows up as arriving at the threshold of your own life and turning back.
Your symptoms are sacred signals. Not failures. Not evidence of damage. The precise intelligence of a system that learned to survive conditions it should not have had to navigate.
You can see the pattern clearly and still cannot stop it in real time because it lives deeper than where you have been trying to change it.
And that gap is shaping everything you touch.
If nothing changes, you will continue to arrive at the threshold of your own life and turn back.
“To say that working with Greg is life-changing understates the profound healing and growth through which he guides clients. When the time came to confront my deepest wounds and challenges, Greg was the one who knew the terrain and how to help me find my way. Lately I’ve been having the sort of insights one hopes to achieve once a year in talk therapy, a couple times a week. Forever grateful to have found him.”
For thousands of years, across Mesoamerican, indigenous North American, and ancient Mediterranean traditions, obsidian was carried into ceremony as a sacred threshold material. A mirror for what cannot otherwise be seen. A blade for what must be cut clean. Born in fire, forged into glass.
This is a rite of passage. An incubator for forging the interior conditions that shape consequence, meaning, and purpose.
This work is not clinical. It is initiatory. To mine the gold of unresolved trauma in service of the highest good is holy work.
Obsidian was forged from my own passage through the territory it now holds.
The Gate | Awareness of Self
The physical & subtle body
Obsidian has been used for millennia as a sacred mirror, a surface for seeing what is otherwise invisible. The Gate is that mirror.
We build the conditions where your system no longer has to brace for impact. Where safety is not something you manage, but something your body recognizes again. Where attention returns to the present without force.
Hypervigilance softens its grip. Dissociation gives way to contact. Cycles of fatigue, pain, and burnout begin to reorganize.
The Crucible | The Relational Field
The mental & emotional body
Obsidian is born when volcanic rock meets cold water in the instant of collision. It does not shatter. It becomes glass. The Crucible is that fire.
We descend into the anatomy of what has organized your relational life from outside your awareness. The costumes, masks, and postures survival built. We meet it not to dismantle it by force but to metabolize it from the inside.
People-pleasing loosens. Shame and self-blame lose their organizing role. Boundaries stop being strategies and start becoming natural expressions of self.
The Blade | Dharma
The spiritual body & consciousness
Obsidian produces the sharpest edge in nature, used in sacred initiation for the precise severance of what no longer belongs. The Blade is that edge.
We work at the level where perception itself is organized, dissolving the filters that have shaped how you see yourself, others, and what is possible. Identity reorganizes around who you actually are. Presence becomes the ground of purpose rather than an achievement of effort.
Cynicism begins to dissolve. Quiet despair gives way to meaning. Self-doubt stops governing how you move. Dharma, impact, and identity become inseparable.
What you have tried did not fail. It was not designed to reach where this was formed.
Your therapist worked with your psychology. Your coach worked with your behavior. Your body worker worked with your nervous system. Each brilliant. Each working in a compartment. None designed to reach that level.
After this work, you will have:
Shame and guilt metabolized at the root level where they were formed
Relational patterns no longer organizing your behavior from outside your awareness
A relationship to self-doubt that no longer governs how you move
The fear of being seen replaced by the ground of being known
Only a whole mind can perceive a whole world.
Which means you can finally inhabit the life you have built, lead from coherence rather than endurance, love without the distance that has protected you from being fully known.
Instead of arriving at the threshold of your own life and turning back, you operate from within it.
Your presence is your legacy.
"The space he holds is flexible, compassionate, and meets everyone where they are. I have gained so much from the way he highlights and models the principle that wisdom, healing potential, and power exist within each part of ourselves and across us collectively."
Willi Farales"When I started working with Greg, he helped me realize that the real issue was that I believed something was wrong with me in the first place. Through his compassionate presence and trauma-informed practice, I learned that when I feel connected and safe, I have an innate ability to heal myself. This gave me a new sense of empowerment and authority over my own life. For the first time, I felt like I was in the driver's seat."
Sara Hanlon"Because he had done the hard work of going to the depths of his own pain in life, he wasn't afraid of mine. He could go there with me. He knew the pain and my grief and anger around the pain were not the real me. He saw my light through it all and was helping me find my way back to my own center."
Alicia Stammer"Working with Greg has provided what I was unable to find in countless therapists, doctors, gurus, self-help books, and spiritual communities. It has helped me connect the dots of my healing and taught me to recognize unhealthy patterns that have historically kept me stuck. My relationships are healthier and filled with more honesty and heart-centered connection."
Cassie CarnahanWhen your dharma, your impact, and your identity are inseparable, your commitment to healing becomes the single most important and sacred contract you will ever make.
Obsidian is for high impact leaders, changemakers, and visionaries who understand that what they have built matters but who they are matters more. Whose unresolved complex and developmental trauma is the single thing standing between the life they are living and the life the world needs them to inhabit.

Therapy works at the level of cognition. Coaching works at the level of strategy and behavior. Naturopathy works at the level of labs and lifestyle. Body-based approaches work at the gross physical form. Obsidian works at the level where identity is formed, where perception, meaning, and response are organized. When that level shifts, everything built on top of it reorganizes.

Some clients hit a plateau in therapy. They have a lifetime of insight but are still carrying a lifetime of pain. If you feel stuck in a thinking and talking roundabout this is for you. If your work with other practitioners is treating, chasing, or managing symptoms and you want to address causative root factors instead, this is for you.
