Reiki 2 Practitioner Certification

Build trauma awareness. Burn out less. Be better at your job.

As a healthcare practitioner, caregiver, or healer are you in over your head when it comes to trauma? Are you experiencing compassion fatigue or secondary trauma from your clients or patients? This training is designed specifically for you. Learn how to avoid burnout and hold more effective, safe, and sustainable space for healing.

Why Reiki and The Touch Revolution over other programs?

Through a comprehensive, hands-on curriculum, you will learn how to reclaim the healing power of your own touch in a Traditional Usui Reiki School. Reiki works exceptionally well to address emotional regulation and the symptoms of unresolved trauma, so it provides a strong and helpful foundation for all healing practitioners.

Through methodology based in science, yogic philosophy, and meditation, The Touch Revolution educates on the impact of trauma on our brain, body, and nervous system. When we approach our work from this holistic lens, we help and empower our clients to heal at every level. This training will make you a more effective and compassionate practitioner and teach you critical boundaries for your own health and wellbeing as a caregiver.

Learning Reiki through a trauma-informed lens amplifies your ability to be present and neutral with your client. Reiki will help you center into your heart and enable you to trust in your intuitive capacity to respond to your client’s constantly-changing needs. Even for healthcare professionals that work hands off, learning Reiki can bring a greater depth of presence and healing to the way you physically and emotionally show up for your clients.

And why touch?

Touch is the only sense we can’t live without. It unites, connects us, and helps us communicate our innate goodness. Reiki is a hands-on healing practice developed in Japan, and it animates the healing power of our own touch. The Touch Revolution brings a trauma-informed lens to this touch-based practice, so you will become a more impactful practitioner. You will not only be able to create more access points for your clients to heal, but you will experience less caregiver fatigue, triggers, and burnout as you work.

This is about your healing, too.

As a practitioner it is vital that you take care of yourself. Many caregivers experience burnout because we either don’t make the time for our own healing and self-care or we take on the trauma and pain of our clients. This program will teach you how to, first, be a resource for yourself. You will become equipped with self-care practices so that you feel empowered in your own healing journey.

Second, you will be a resource for your clients, serving as an educator in how they can heal themselves and benefit from daily self-care practices. By focusing on your own healing, you will be a more effective healer and advocate for yourself and your clients. This is a great recipe for a long and fulfilling career in service.

Is The Touch Revolution for me?

For healthcare professionals The Touch Revolution is a non-negotiable. The care you provide others is an offshoot of the care you provide for yourself. I know. We covered this!

This course is specifically designed for doctors, nurses, psychotherapists, counselors, massage therapists, yoga instructors, mental health professionals, social workers, and caregivers. The Touch Revolution equips you with the education and tools you need to work with trauma that invariably presents itself inside our healing spaces.

To recap, understanding how to work with the effects of trauma on our brain, body, and nervous system can ensure that you do no harm to you or your clients and that you learn how to mitigate the effects of compassion fatigue. Secondary traumatic stress can impact your own mental, emotional, and physical health. It will impact your relationships and your ability to show up effectively in your work. And the world needs your work.

If you’re a practitioner who wants to build your trauma awareness, burn out less, and be better at your job, this training is absolutely for you.
